Ivano is short for Ivano-Frankivsk— the city in Ukraine where Jahkrow lived for six years. He was studying medicine there, dreaming of becoming a doctor. But the war changed everything. He had to leave everything behind — his studies, his friends, his home — and start over.
Now he lives in Berlin as a refugee. He came here with nothing but his voice, his story, and a dream to make something meaningful out of the pain.
“Ivano To Berlin” is that journey. It is a genre-fluid album that blends Dancehall, Hip Hop, Amapiano, Highlife, and Reggae — every sound that has shaped him. It is a story of loss, survival, resilience, and hope.
Through this album, Jahkrow wants to put smiles on the faces of all who listen. He wants to inspire and motivate. He wants to prove that even after losing everything, you can still rise.
His legacy is simple: Only Good Music.
